This type of repair is normally well suited to companies with a relatively small number of deployed devices and sufficient spare units, or where the device does not form part of a mission critical system. Just like Medallion & Service Contracts, ProScan's Time & Material Repair Services are backed by industry-leading service and support performance and quality.
When the need for repairs may arise, ProScan's authorised repair centres will sort your equipment out. Occasionally, customers may decline to cover their data collection devices with Medallion Service Contracts. If a customer has declined coverage, or if the customer's equipment is not eligible for Medallion Service Contract coverage, ProScan offers other industry-leading repair alternatives. ProScan offers competitive flat rate pricing to cover the majority of common repair needs, but may also offer time and materials pricing for low-cost repairs or to cover other contingencies, at ProScan's sole discretion. |
ProScan recently added a Mobile Helpdesk to its array of technical services. Designed to complement the Service Level Agreement, the purpose of this helpdesk is to provide intelligent technical assistance and support at first and second line levels.

ProScan provides warranty repairs to all devices sold in accordance with manufacturer's standards. All repairs are backed by the manufacturer and are completed in South Africa.

Based on customer demand, the Field Service team was formed in October 2007. The team functions as an on-site extension of the ProScan repair centre in Jet Park and consists of technical engineers and dedicated vehicles.
